There are many offices in the State of Georgia that provide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP). Below we list the SNAP Program Offices.
The Division of Family and Children Services handles the SNAP Program for Georgia. Anyone may apply for food stamp benefits. The program helps households that have limited income and resources. You can obtain an application online at: dfcs.dhs.georgia.gov or your local DHS Office. After you fill out your application, you will need an interview by someone from DFCS. There is also a Senior SNAP program which is handled differently. Here is more information on the Senior SNAP program from the government website in Georgia: http://dfcs.dhs.georgia.gov/senior-snap.
