    The mission of the Human and Community Services Division of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is to support the strengths of families and communities by promoting employment and providing the necessary assistance to help families and individuals meet their basic needs and lift themselves out of poverty.

    The department provides financial support, employment training, complementary nutrition assistance, Medicaid, childcare, food refunds, nutrition training, energy relief, weather treatment, and other services to help families get out of poverty and take care of themselves.
    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides benefits for eligible families to supplement their food budget and increase their ability to buy healthy food.

      I got a letter saying i missed my interview. I sent the required documents to your office 2 weeks ago and you returned the originals. I spoke with a woman about a month ago telling her nothing had changed. She said she would put a note in my file. I have been on hold at 1-888-706-1535 for about 2 hours.
