    The federally known Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is know in California as CalFresh. This benefits assists low-income individuals/household families in purchasing nutritious food at authorized grocery stores and other retailers. Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and non-food products cannot be purchased with this benefit.

    CalFresh benefit amount will be determined according to number of individuals in household, income, expenses and other pertinent information.

    Note:

    The CalFresh benefit will be provided to approved recipients through an EBT Card.
