Miles City Field Office Details

The mission of the Human and Community Services Division of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is to support the strengths of families and communities by promoting employment and providing the assistance necessary to help families and individuals meet their basic needs and work their way out of poverty.

The division provides cash assistance, vocational training, supplementary nutritional assistance, Medicaid, child care, meal reimbursement, nutritional training, energy assistance, weatherization and other services to help families move out of poverty and into self-support.

If either or both patents revive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, a check mark will eppear; otherwise, the boxes wlll be blank.
The program provides monthly payments to low-income families and children who meet income and means test eligibility requirements.
The Work Readiness Component provides employment and training services for people receiving financial support.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides benefits to eligible families to supplement their food budget and increase their ability to purchase healthy food.
A SNAP Nutrition Education, which operates in conjunction with Montana State University, teaches participants to use the benefits of their food stamp wisely.
