Rice County Social Services Details
SNAP, formerly known as Food Stamps, helps low-income Minnesotans get the food they need for nutritious and balanced meals.
The program provides support to help expand your home food budget.
It is not intended to meet all the food needs of your home.
If you're approved for SNAP, you can take advantage of your benefits in many stores, farmers' markets, and older eateries.
Households with incomes at or below 165 percent of the federal poverty directive that also received the Domestic Violence Information Brochure do not have an asset limit for determining benefits.
