    How long does it take for my application to get approved?

    If you can even get in touch with anyone it takes way too long. I am 8 months pregnant and I have been trying to get food stamps and Medicaid for months. I filled out the online application SEVERAL times. All I have received has been a paper saying my phone appt was on 12/15, which I received on 12/19. I have called the office for 2 straight hours and I do not even get an answer.

      I just wanted to let you know that I had the most pleasant experience with this office. My case manager Michele Horne is truly a blessing. During these hard times with my incurable illness, she was on top of things and VERY friendly and helpful. I wanted to let you know that everyone's hard work and dedications are truly appreciated.

      I have been trying to renew my foodstamps and cannot get a hold of anyone. I have sat on the phone holding for hours just to get hung up on. My assistance ended in November. I received a letter for a phone renewal and never got the phone call. Plus I didn't get the notice until the day of the my appt time. What is the best way to get a hold of DHS to renew my food stamps?

      You can't get thru on the phone. I need an email address to send my documents to.

      I am discouraged! Not only have I been calling every day.. I never received my call for my interview! I have uploaded all documents prior to my interview and I’m not able to contact anyone. No one answers the phone, you can call at 8am and it’ll still tell you the wait time is 60mins! This is outrageous and we’re in a pandemic!! I have two small hungry children that I can’t afford to feed!

      May I please get a email address to reach my case worker? I can not get through by phone. I'm disabled and I'm going to lose food stamps from someone not doing its job by answering the phone

      how in the world can i talk to someone if no one answers the phone on the 22nd of dec i faxed the requested info i also have the confirmation pages and also have tried the 800 number and the system was down,I faxed the info to the Hernado, MS fax number, ill will try again on the 800 number I could, not send the requested info thru the computer cant get to any one at the office either and no drop box as well.

      Just like the rest - I have held for hours on end for renewal with no luck. Mine lapsed in November... I just don't understand - if they can't see anyone face to face because of the virus and they're not answering the phone then what are they doing?

      I’ve been calling for weeks to change my address because I’m having issues with the post office. I have never Received a card. My child has been Going hungry. This office is no help and they haven’t at all.

      These people are absolutely the worst. I sent all documents and was expecting to get my benefits and found out by logging on the website that the new person lied and said that I didn't submit everything!
