Snap Office Aguadilla Region Details

Puerto Rico implemented this plan in lieu of supplementary nutrition assistance programmes.
Eligibility requirements and benefit amounts are determined by Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico provides 75% of the nutritional assistance benefits for buying food in certified retailers and 25% in cash for the purchase of food in certified and unaudited retailers through the Commonwealth's electronic benefit transfer system.
To be eligible for this benefit program you must live in Puerto Rico and you can have funds savings accounts, bank accounts, etc. up to $2,000.
Households with a person aged 60 years or older or completely disabled can have up to $3,000 in resources.
Households in Puerto Rico must meet a net income limit that varies according to the number of people in the household.
Net income is calculated by taking the total amount of income from the household and deducting deductions for the type of income, the type of household members and certain eligible expenditure.
