Hello I received a EBT card maybe a month or more ago . I was too embarrassed to use it. I’m 70 and never thought I would need this program but I do. Hard for me to accept my circumstances. Anyway I am going to accept help with food. I have called the phone number on back of card but it says I have a unrecognized card number. Is that because I never activated my card? If so how do I do that?

I am currently not working, pregnant and due in November. I have a 1 1/2 year old and my boyfriend and I live together. I want to find out what kind of help I qualify for.
