TAD Office - Adelanto Details
The CalFresh program, federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), provides monthly benefits to low-income households and individuals to purchase nutritious food items. SNAP benefits cannot be used to purchase alcoholic beverages, tobacco, paper product, pet food, cosmetics, vitamins, medicines, and other non-food items. You can use your SNAP benefits to purchase seeds and plants to grow food for household consumption.
SNAP benefits are issued on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which looks like any other credit card. The amount of SNAP benefits you can receive is dependent on household size, countable income, and monthly expenses.

You can use your EBT card to purchase food items online at Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Amazon, and Walmart.
