In Louisiana, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamp Program) is handled through the Department of Children and Families, DCFS.

You can apply online at the Louisiana CAFE Customer Portal website: https://cafe-cp.dcfs.la.gov/, or visit your local office.
Louisiana also has a program for food assistance for seniors called Louisiana Combined Application Project (LaCAP). This is food assistance for those over 60 years old.
